Diagnosis is difficult and cannot be made from the features of a headache alone because the symptoms of many different types of headache overlap. The challenge of determining if the neck is involved has largely been overcome. We are the sum of our experiences – and my clinical experience suggests that cervicogenic dysfunction can be the cause of headache and migraine. It is incumbent to pass on and support this experience with rigorous scientific research, communicating it with headache sufferers.

1. Place the front section centrally ensuring that the central guideline is midline; ask the patient to hold in place.

2. Wrap the collar around so that the rear section is in the suboccipital area; ensure that the central guide is in the midline

3. Adjustment of the left side strap to the correct length may be required. Once correct, fix it with the locking buckle

4. Connect the right side strap.

5. Adjust the right side to achieve even fit and firmness around the neck. Check the location of the bladders are correct. Lock the right strap.

6. The ENDUROFLEX should fit evenly and firmly around the neck, high under the angles of the mandible, and in the suboccipital area.

7. Inflate both bladders so that they are engaged with the neck.

8. The assessment of the patient can now be performed according to instructions in the guide provided with the product.
